In this section you'll find information on International Travel.
Note: All American Airlines/American Eagle international passengers must hold a valid passport (in addition to any other required documentation) to enter or depart the United States. Passengers NOT in possession of valid travel documents for the destination country and/or transit points will be denied travel.
Failure to provide true and correct information as it appears on your passport may result in denied boarding by American Airlines and/or refused entry by government border control authorities. Any costs resulting from noncompliance, including but not limited to monetary costs, will be the passenger's responsibility.
U.S. citizens may use established forms of identification to board flights and for entry when traveling between the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa. Additional information is available from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
